Maff has spent three decades working in social justice with a varied career which has included turning the 02/Dome into a homeless shelter (Crisis); running the largest homeless provider in the UK (The Salvation Army) advising Government ministers and building a new generation of hostels across England(ODPM/CLG); setting up a new funder for Community business (Power to Change) being a CEO of housing associations and founding a global social movement in his bedroom which now spans 6 countries worldwide (Camerados). Maff is also a Jazz piano player and runs a pop up Jazz club. He recently became the CEO of the British Gas Energy Trust, returning to the sharp end of poverty at a time when world events are creating a sotrm of poverty unseen for a generation.
