Azhar Ahmed

Born and raised in Yorkshire, Azhar Ahmed moved to Peterborough in 1999 and has spent his career working in housing, a sector he remains deeply passionate about. After a brief spell in finance, he realised his heart was in helping people and communities, returning to housing and progressing into development leadership roles with Muir Group, Cross Keys Homes and now Accent Housing. Azhar is passionate about nurturing colleagues, helping teams reach their potential, and creating great places for people to live. Alongside his professional career, he is a serving trustee of an international humanitarian charity working across 15 countries and has previously served as a housing association board member.
