Nacro supports more than 33,000 people each year across England and Wales. The people we work with have often struggled; growing up in care; facing homelessness; failed by the education system or caught up in the tide of the justice system. The challenges we face shape who we are, but our past shouldn’t dictate our future.
We make change possible through practical help and support. We deliver safe and secure supported housing, run trusted education centres, provide support to help people navigate life after prison, and deliver accessible health and wellbeing support, including substance misuse services.
We work directly with people to provide the person-centred support they need to move forward and build better futures. And we campaign on the issues that matter to them to improve the systems and reduce the barriers holding them back.
