E-bike fires: Rapid, hot, and explosive
Last year 356 e-bike fires were recorded, a 13-fold increase since 2021. This session will explore how providers are responding to this new and concerning fire risk, including:
- The specific risks posed by e-bike fires
- How housing associations are working with their residents to prevent this issue
- The concerted public awareness, policies and product standards needed to mitigate the threat from these types of fires
